hi there, nice to meet you =)

Who do I think I am? I am everything from the slant in my eyes to the things I aspire to be. My name is Muriel Sayaka Kosaka, and I am 5'2 and not getting any taller than that. I am Japanese but unable to speak a lick of it. I have crooked legs cause of my mom and her bowlegged-ness(?).

I was born and raised in California til about 9 years old. I moved here to New York as a result of my mom meeting my stepdad, Tom. I have a twin sister named Hanah who is my most closest friend, and an older brother named Juston who is still stuck in his "all-about-cars-phase." I love my stepdad more than my real dad cause he's been taking care of all of us since day one. My real dad still lives in California, he had another daughter named Rachel who I don't see very often. But anyways, most of my family live in California, my grandparents and my aunt and cousin so I try to get out there as much as I can to visit.

My everyday life consists of going to school full-time and working. I work at Godiva Chocolatier 5 days a week so I can survive in this city. When I'm at home, I love to be on Yahoo and read those headline articles, go on Tumblr, and go on YouTube, I am all up in that media, except for Facebook, I'm not really a Facebook kind of person, I have one, but that's so I can keep in touch with high school friends. I love going on Tumblr and looking at things that people post up, whether it's black and white photography or if it's of food, I think it's all so cool. On YouTube, you find these people with such great talent, like dancers, or singers, or artists, it's just all so amazing. For example, I stumbled upon this video of this artist who did 7 days of live drawing/painting, transforming two whole walls and floor into this amazing creation. It's just mind blowing to me, it's definitely my most favorite video.

I am also big traveller, I love to go to different parts of the world and seeing how other people live. My favorite trip was to Beijing with my parents and my sister, we went in the middle of winter so it was practically mind-numbingly cold over there. We went to the Great Wall while it was snowing and what-not, so we had to practically climb the stairs like they were ladders and walk extra slow cause some stairs were very high up and some were very steep. This is what it looked like:
