From one place to another

Identifying myself is a very difficult thing to do mainly because I have no clue as to "who I am." After putting much thought into who I really am, and what my role is in the media I have finally come to a conclusion. It is safe to say that I am everything. I am a tweeter, I am a blogger I am an amateur photographer (to say the least.) I am a performer, I am apart of the YouTube audience, and I am a listener for many bands. It is very hard to actually decide who you really are, especially in an age that has so much influence on one through various forms of media. I believe that many get their sense of "style and individuality" through the media.
Things such as fashion magazines, store catalogs, television commercials, and more, often have "this season's must haves" and many (such as myself) will WANT to buy these certain items. Now I may not be the most fashionable, but I have preferences as to how I like to dress. I like to jump to different stores and I don't really focus too much on "what's in." Although (not gonna lie) I do from time to time look at fashion magazine's or my favorite actress or singer's style for inspiration. Not only do I find these role model's through the media, but I look up to my family and friends as well. Other ways that media has influenced my being who I am has been through my participating in media. for instance I like to do photography and I've done so since my sophomore year in high school.
Since there has been a boom in digital imaging i have since been interested in doing that as well. I'll admit I was a little apprehensive about showing other my work, I have now changed this concept, since I have decided it is what I want to do as a career. I am a little more social on the internet as well, I recently created a twitter account, and found it very fun to "tweet" things. As far as knowing who I am all I can say is that I like to try new things and I don't put boundaries on my way of thinking although I do hesitate at times, but I feel like that sometimes comes naturally to me. As you can see I cannot define myself as a certain "title," I'm just simply me. Perhaps I will find out more about myself as I progress in life.
